Jews were forced into camps in an assigned order. They would pack their things and go to a train station where they were taken to the camp. (Transportation) Once they arrived, they were immediately separated by gender, taken to have their hair shaved, tattooed with a number, and given striped pajama-like clothes to wear. The Jews had to live in small living areas called barracks. These spaces had no heat and almost no food. Jews were used for medical testing and manual labor because they were not thought of as humans, but as a lower form of life. They had no rights to better conditions.

The Nazis killed Jews by gassing, medical experimentation, firing squads, malnutrition, and beating. Gas chambers caused most of the Jews deaths. Germans would take Jews into a chamber where they would release toxic gas to kill them. Also, Jews were medically experimented on to test new chemicals or medicines.
